Parmesan Crusted Chicken
We eat ALOT of chicken around here and truly my husband gets sick of it if I don’t change it up! So I have learned I have to jazz it up sometimes and then everyone is happy! Chicken is such a great food to eat! It’s super lean and packed with about 30g of protein for 4 oz .Plus this dish only has 5 ingredients and is low carb. Now thats what I call more bang for you buck! Plus who doesn’t like JAZZY ? and EASY ……. meals 🙂 Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter and back in the kitchen!
Enjoy! And for an extra little tip….for some odd reason I like using honey mustard to dip it in (regular sandwich French brand honey mustard not the dressing)
4 – 8oz chicken breast
Mix the following:
1/2 C Shredded Parmesan cheese ( I use one from the deli thats only 20 calories 1.5 g fat per table spoon. READ YOUR LABELS FRIENDS)
1 C 0% Greek yogurt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Spread mixture over chicken breasts evenly, bake at 375 -45 mins
OPTIONAL:2-3 tbs panko bread crumbs sprinkled on top before baking well (its really good and only adds like 20-30 calories per chicken breast)
