This is going to be a very short & to the point but I want you to think about simplifying your foods. I don’t eat complicated meals. The foods I eat normally don’t have an ingredients list. They are whole foods. Not always of course but a lot of the time. I feel like sometimes I need to jazz up all my food to look fancy but the truth is the smart choice is to keep it real and REAL SIMPLE. Choose whole foods with lost of natural flavor and it will be tasty. Roast or grill your food and it will be tasty. Its that simple! You don’t need to get crazy just keep it fresh. TONS of restaurants are always saying they are fresh and advertising “fresh” to get customers to come in. Yet a lot of there food will never be as fresh as you can make it at home.
For example roasting veggies is so simple yet so tasty, this is one of my favorite combos.
1-2 Medium Zucchini
1-2 Medium Squash
1 Large Sweet Potato
Mrs dash Garlic Herb seasoning
Pepper and a little Salt
Cover a cookie dish with tin foil, turn oven to 375 and spray with olive oil spray. Cut into slices. Season & bake Zucchini and Squash for 15 minutes. Pull out the cookie sheet and pull the zucchini and squash over into a bowl and cover them and set aside. Place the remaining sweet potato back in the oven for another 5-7 min or until tender. Thats all you have to do and they taste great with any type of meat as the main dish!
