Sweet Cinnamon Donuts with Cinnamon Maple Frosting
Without frosting they are a breakfast muffin and with they are a deliciously treat! Either way they are winners! I love the flavors of fall and this mixes a lot of them perfectly without extra calories! Its still pretty warm where I live. I try to wear pants and boots to feel like the fall is here and I sweat all day. So I stick with shorts and I make fall treats. First up… Sweet Cinnamon Donuts with Cinnamon maple frosting
The Skinny:
1 cup oat flour
1/4 cup Vanilla Try About Time Protein (Use my code : delishfit for 25% off your oder on their site ) 100% ALL natural whoot whoot!!
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbs almond milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup smashed ripe banana
1/2 cup sweet potato
1/4 tsp salt
40 Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops Vanilla Creme Liquid Stevia (I HIGHLY suggest getting some. I use mine everyday and one bottle last over a year. If you don’t have it you can try stevia packets 10-11 packets should work fine)
Mix everything together pour into a donut pan and bake at 350 for 8-11 min .
Frosting:
Combine the following in a food processor.:
1 c 1 % cottage cheese or greek yogurt (but cottage cheese makes it more like a cream cheese frosting!)
25 Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops Vanilla Creme Liquid Stevia( Or replace with stevia packets to your taste – I assume 1-3)
1.5- 2 Walden Farms Calorie Free Pancake Syrup or maple syrup of choice
1/8 tsp or a pinch of cinnamon
1/4 xanthan gum to thicken ( you do have to have this it just makes the frosting thicker which is delish!)
