You and Me Workout

I prefer to exercise during the twins nap or before they wake up in the morning. Its easier to do it alone without two little sets of feet attacking my every movement. But that is very difficult to do sometimes and doesn’t always happen. For those days I make great use of the following full body workout. The reps will vary based on the weight of your little one or ones! Also certain moves will be safer at different ages but once mine were able to sit I could do all the following exercises.

 

4 ROUNDS

 Forward stepping lunges -10 Stepping right and left counts as one

(butt, quads, hamstrings, calves)

Russian One leg dead lifts

(butt, thighs, back and arms)15 REPS each leg

Lunge with baby on shoulders

(butt, abs, hamstrings, quads- 20 reps)

 Sumo Squat cradling baby in front

(inner& outer thighs, butt)20 REPS

Hip Thrust with your little one on your hips/lap (

(butt, hamstrings, lower back -20 Reps)

Push-Up over baby / Older kid pushup with child on your back 

(Abs, shoulders, arms) 10 REPS

Repeat THREE times

BONUS ROUND: Put your kids in a laundry basket and PUSH them around your house for 1 minute as fast as you can go. Rest 30 seconds. PULL them laundry basket around your house as fast as you can go! Repeat!
